
Dr. Joseph Majka completed his dental education in 1993 from Indiana University School of Dentistry. During the summer of 1993, Dr. Majka worked for the Indiana State Department of Health, predominantly caring for the dental needs of the children of migrant farm workers. In September of 1993, he moved back to Valparaiso and started practicing family and cosmetic dentistry that October.
Dr. Majka has always had a kind heart for the underprivileged in the community, and has given back in so many ways. From 1999 to 2001, he was a volunteer dentist for Hilltop House.
From 2001 to 2002, he served on the board of directors for Hilltop Community Health Center. Dr, Majka has been involved with Donated Dental Services of Indiana since 2001. Every year, Dr. Majka and his team provide free dental care for a number of patients.

Dr. Majka has enjoyed numerous continuing education courses over the years covering all aspects of dental care. He has attended the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for training in cosmetic dentistry and has three hundred hours of training from New York University in implant dentistry. Dr. Majka earned a fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2007.
