Dr. Joseph Majka
|
Dr. Joseph Majka completed his dental education in 1993 from Indiana University School of Dentistry. During the summer of 1993, Dr. Majka worked for the Indiana State Department of Health, predominantly caring for the dental needs of the children of migrant farm workers. In September of 1993, he moved back to Valparaiso and started practicing family and cosmetic dentistry that October.
Dr. Majka has always had a kind heart for the underprivileged
in the community, and has given back in so many ways.
From 1999 to 2001, he was a volunteer dentist for
Hilltop House. |

From 2001 to 2002, he served on the board of directors
for Hilltop Community Health Center. Dr, Majka has
been involved with Donated Dental Services of Indiana
since 2001. Every year, Dr. Majka and his team provide
free dental care for a number of patients.
As a patient of Dr. Majka, you will experience
a calming atmosphere, an outstanding level of quality
service and an overall laid-back demeanor. But don’t let Dr. Majka’s
relaxed personality fool you; his qualifications
are diverse and his achievements lengthy!

Dr. Majka has enjoyed numerous continuing education courses over the years covering all aspects of dental care. He has attended the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for training in cosmetic dentistry and has three hundred hours of training from New York University in implant dentistry. Dr. Majka earned a fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2007.

Ashley
Dental Assistant/ Hygiene Coordinator
Ashley had her Dental Assistant training through the Portage Dental Health Vocational and has been working with Dr. Majka since 2007. She is a happy upbeat person and always smiling. Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, playing softball, and loves traveling.

Dental Assistant
Jill has been working with Dr. Majka since 2005. She has been a Dental Assistant since 1998. Jill is married to Todd and they have two girls, Madelyn and Mallory. Jill is bubbly and is always happy! She enjoys reading and spending time with her family, friends and her dog Samson.

Candice
Scheduling & Financial Coordinator
Candice has worked in the dental field since 1993. She has worked for Dr. Majka since 2003 as the scheduling and financial coordinator. Candice enjoys shopping and spending time with her daughter Madison. Her warm, caring and fun loving personality adds much to our office.

Dena
Dental Assistant
Dena has been a Dental Assistant since 1999. She has worked with Dr. Majka since 2004. Her skill, knowledge, and fun-loving attitude keep patients feeling calm and comfortable. Dena is married to Jason and they have two children. When she is not working, she is busy raising her family. Dena enjoys long walks, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Darlene
Dental Hygienist
Darlene is a 1996 graduate of Indiana University and has been practicing dental hygiene with Dr. Majka since graduating. She enjoys using her knowledge and thorough demeanor to help patients maintain a healthy smile. Darlene has a caring and friendly personality which helps patients feel comfortable. She has been married to Scott since 1997 and has two wonderful children, Desiree and Dylan. In her free time, Darlene enjoys reading, scrapbooking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.

Wendy
Dental Hygienist
Wendy has worked as a dental hygienist for over
20 years and really loves what she does! She is a
1988 graduate of Indiana University Dental Hygiene
School and has been working for us since she graduated.
Wendy brings a positive and energetic personality
to our office. She has been married to her husband
Tim for 20 wonderful years and has two handsome boys,
Andrew and Ryan! In Wendy’s spare time, she
enjoys running, biking, swimming, but most importantly
just spending time with her family and friends. |
